Asalaamu alaykum waRahmatullah waBarakaatuh
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍWhat's the first thought that comes into your mind when you stopped at that point in the translation? You imagine what could be in that Sealed cup, what type of Nectar, what type of taste..? "And in that.." is what?!
They will be given to drink - from nectar (which was) sealed (i.e. the drink has never been opened).
خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ
It's seal (is of) Musk, and in that..
[al Mutaffifeen 83: 25-26]
You don't know, and you won't be able to find out its taste and look, so Allah tells us the only way you'll find out is if; فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ - "then let the competitors compete!"
Allah is telling us that if you want to remove that expensive seal from this drink, and take that peak look in that drink, you have to race to Jannah (the Gardens of Paradise) to find out.
O Allah, make us of those who drink from this drink, ameen ya Hayyu ya Qayyoom!
